Finca Pepe is located outside Fuengirola in the hills of Los Pacos. The farm has been run by Pepe and his brother as a hobby since they both retired a couple of years ago. Water is scarce and electricity is expensive in this area. Perfect prerequisites for micro-irrigation in combination with a solar-powered water distribution system.
Pepe chose to install Spowdi Mobile Pro last year and the system has been running since at no cost for electricity and substantially reduced water consumption. The farm is a little over one acre and produces enough food for the two families, the neighbors, and some are even sold on the local farmer’s market.
