‘A pioneer in her village’ – the story of Smart Farmer Sangitaben Rathod and Spowdi featured in Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet

One of Sweden’s biggest daily newspapers, Svenska Dagbladet (SvD), has featured the story of smart farmer Sangitaben Rathod and her journey with Spowdi. In the article, Sangitaben describes the challenges that many small-hold farmers face, such as climate change and unreliable electric systems. She also speaks about daring to make the decision to try Spowdi’s innovation, as it would impact their entire livelihood. However, when finally deciding to give the technology a chance, her harvests grew thrice as big and used only a fraction of the water.

In the article, Spowdi’s CEO Henrik Johansson also speaks about what aspects are important to acknowledge when working with small-hold farmers and what challenges they face regarding access to innovative technology.
