COP28 has come to an end and the Spowdi team has had the opportunity to meet with numerous diverse stakeholders, all with the common aim of finding a way forward toward a sustainable future. Meetings such as these are of great importance, as change requires collaboration and partnerships. A few of those important meetings were with the panelists that participated in Spowdi’s two sessions at COP28, both moderated by Spowdi’s CMO Rupali Mehra.
The first session ‘Taking bold bets to transform lives of 500 million small-hold farmers’ gathered insights from Jakob Kiefer, Executive Board Member at Spowdi, Chege Ngugi, Africa Regional Director at ChildFund International, Katie Carson, Director of Corporate Affairs, Food and Climate Policy at Tetrapak, and Malin Lundberg Ingemarsson, Team Lead, Water for Resilient Landscapes at SIWI. Watch the entire session below:
Spowdi’s second session was called ‘Resilient food production systems – Enabling Impact Generators through Innovation’. Taking center-stage during the session was Henrik Johansson, CEO & Co-Founder at Spowdi, Anita George, Co-Founder of Edihna Capital, Anup Jagwani, Global Head – Manufacture, Agriculture and Forestry at International Finance Corporation, Sangitaben Rathod, a small-hold farmer utilizing the Spowdi technology, and Mansi Shah, Senior Coordinator at SEWA.
