It was a packed day of talks, discussions and commitments at the opening of the Swedish Pavilion on December 1, which was inaugurated by Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and attended by Swedish industry delegates including team Spowdi’s CEO Henrik Johansson, Board Member Jakob Kiefer and CMO Rupali Mehra.
“Here, we invite the world, literally, to partner with us in the green transition. To work together in developing transformational solutions to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement and a safe future for the next generation”, said the Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson. The Prime Minister also held a meeting with business leaders.

During the event, Spowdi’s CEO Henrik Johansson was invited to participate in the panel discussion on ´The role of Circularity in a Green Transition.’
“How can we generate the most possible impact? By doing things a little bit differently and providing new kind of tools … The other side of this, is also to understand that change will happen much faster if we can provide knowledge on why to change”, Henrik Johansson said during the discussion.
When asked about how to achieve circularity within processes, Johansson shared Spowdi’s last mile approach and involving the local communities to create a resilient food production system. He also discussed the importance of data to track and measure impact.
“Small-hold farmers need to have access to information, and we need to collect data from them so that we can decide the tools that are needed for them as we go”, Johansson stated.
